2:00 pm to 3:00 pm: Jeff Greenberger, Late2Lien – The Unintended Consequences in Legal Clauses:
Over the years Jeff Greenberger has offered to review our attendee’s leases. In those reviews, along with leases from other operators, Jeff has put together a list of clauses, that appear to be well intended, but that can have bad unintended consequences when actually put to the test in court. Jeff will pull real clauses out of agreements to show us how the turn of a word or an misunderstood sentence or two placed in your lease can turn a whole clause upside down and leave you exposed. As always, Jeff will treat us to a healthy dose of good humor as he beats up on our leases.

Robert will attempt to change the way you think about a concept you have always believed in – The Golden Rule. The session will explain why building your customer service strategy on the Golden Rule is bad for your business. You will learn why understanding how your prospects and customer like their coffee is the key to providing customer service to today’s consumer. You will also hear results of a consumer study that claim trying to WOW your customer is a mistake. Robert’s presentation is based on the book “The Platinum Rule” by Dr. Tony Alessandra and Michael O’Connor.
