Ride the tide from Carneros champagne region to downtown

Ride a relaxed current with gentle breeze at your back for the duration of this one- way adventure.  Connect with nature here in the cooler-climate, champagne growing region of Napa Valley.   During this leisurely glide up river paddlers will enjoy open skylines and sweeping views of Mt Tam, Mt Diablo, Atlas Peak and Mt Veeder.  You may spot river otter and a variety of native & migratory birds that inhabit this critical habitat where tidal wetlands blend into the Napa River Valley.  Tour breaks for lunch & wine in the redwood groves at Kennedy Park about halfway, then continues into Downtown Napa, riding the tide.  

For those interested to explore the forested section of river above the Oxbow, boards & kayaks will be made available from the Main Street Dock in the early afternoon (upon tour completion) for folks to explore on there own.  

Carneros Guided Tour Schedule:

• 9:30am – meet at 6 Cutting Warf Road, Napa – secure paddleboards, kayak, tour gear
• 10:00am – launch for guided tour
• 11:00am – Lunch and wine @ Kennedy Park
• 12:00pm – continue on guided tour
• 1:30pm (approx..) –  departure landing – Napa Yacht Club, 100 Riverside Dr., Napa

*Attendees must arrange transportation to and from starting and end point and it's strongly suggested to wear swim gear.
