Kristen Harris

I am the President of The Tierra Corporation, my family’s self-storage property management company based in San Diego. With 13 properties across Southern California and Arizona, I’m proud to bring heart, vision, and more than 25 years of industry experience to the work we do every day.
I began my career in the airline industry, a field I truly loved. After 9/11, I felt called to make a change. I chose to retire from American Airlines and join my family’s company, a decision that opened the door to a new passion and a career that has shaped my life for more than two decades.
Today, I’m honored to serve on the CSSA Board of Directors. I am currently Chairman of the Napa Committee and contribute as a member of the Membership Committee. Being involved with the association has been incredibly rewarding, giving me the opportunity to support and strengthen the self-storage community that means so much to me.
Outside of my professional life, my greatest joy is my family. I have two adult sons and am a proud grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren.
