Matthew Garibaldi

Matt Garibalidi is the Founder and CEO of Storage Star Holdings, LLC (“Storage Star”), a vertically integrated self-storage investment company founded in 2017. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Matt previously served as President of FollettUSA, a California-based real estate investment firm focused on manufactured home communities and self-storage. Earlier in his career, he was a Principal at American Infrastructure Funds and held investment roles at NGP Energy Capital Management and Goldman Sachs, where he worked in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area and the Investment Management Division.

He serves on the CSSA Napa Conference and Annual Owners Summit committee. He also sits on advisory boards for the Stanford Real Estate Council, UC Berkeley’s Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics, and the University of Notre Dame Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate.

Matt lives in Kentfield, California, with his wife and three children.
