“Making Sense of the Propositions” – CSSA Peer Power Hour owner discussion

Ballots will be arriving the first week of October. This FREE session will moderated by CSSA lobbying firm Platinum Advisors, and CSSA coalition partner CA Business Roundtable. Allison Barnett and Rob Lapsley will help CSSA members understand the nuances of the 14 propositions and how they will affect self storage and your other businesses. In addition, we’ll take a closer look at California Proposition 43, Two-Thirds Vote Requirement for Local Special Tax Initiatives and Property Tax Initiative. This initiative will make it more difficult for local jurisdictions to pass taxes and fees, and will help in the fight to avoid changes to Prop. 13.
