Nathan McElmurry
Nathan McElmurry is Managing Director at Ares SecureSpace, where he leads the firm’s investments in the self-storage sector. Since 2005, Nathan has been involved in more than $5 billion in self-storage transactions across 375+ properties. Previously, he served as SVP of Acquisitions for SmartStop Self Storage and held leadership roles at GE Capital. Nathan is the current Chair of CSSA and has been actively involved with the association for many years, including serving as Co-Chair of the CSSA Self Storage Owners Summit.
Tyson Huebner
Tyson Huebner is Director of Institutional Research at Yardi Matrix, where he provides research and insights on real estate market trends. Prior to joining Yardi Matrix in 2023, Tyson spent 12 years at Heitman, focusing on investment strategy and the management of more than $10 billion in self-storage and student housing assets. He regularly shares his research and industry perspective at leading real estate events nationwide.
