CSSA Women in Storage: Connecting, Empowering, and Growing Together

The newly formed CSSA Women in Storage group is off to an exciting start! Created to connect, empower, and support women throughout the self-storage industry, this initiative is already bringing professionals together to share experiences, build relationships, and create new opportunities for growth.

Since its introduction at the 2026 CSSA Owners Summit, the group has continued gaining momentum. Led by Co-Chairs Christina Rita of StoragePRO Management and Susan Hovey of Strat Property Management, Women in Storage is focused on building a supportive community through networking, mentorship, professional development, and shared experiences.

Coming up next is our first virtual networking event on Tuesday, November 10, from 10:00–11:30 AM PST! This interactive speed networking session will give participants an opportunity to meet fellow women in the industry through small-group conversations, share their professional journeys, and make meaningful new connections. Whether you're looking to expand your network, exchange ideas, or simply get more involved, this is a great opportunity to connect!

As the group continues to grow, we look forward to introducing more opportunities for collaboration, education, and mentorship in 2027. Women in Storage is about creating a community where women at every stage of their careers can support one another and grow together.
