CSSA Young Leaders Group

Introducing the CSSA Young Leaders Group -

With the goal of engaging, educating, and empowering storage industry professionals aged 40 and under, the CSSA YLG had its inaugural meeting at the Owner’s Summit in Newport Beach. Over 50 young storage professionals gathered for a networking breakfast before the conference, creating meaningful connections with others in the industry. The turnout of this event highlighted the strong desire for a professional group of peers and the growing new generation within the storage industry. As co-chairs of the YLG, we are excited to be helping get this group off the ground and turn it into a meaningful contributor to our fellow YLG members’ growing careers. We want the YLG to be the premier network for the next generation of self-storage leaders, fostering innovation, leadership, and collaboration that shapes the future of the industry. We plan on having regular networking meetups, educational content, and mentorship opportunities for all the members of the YLG.

During the Vegas SSA show, several of the CSSA YLG members held impromptu dinners and happy hours and attended the SSA YLG event together. If you are aged 40 and under (or have anyone in your organization that is) and are interested in joining the CSSA YLG; we would love for you to join and be a part of this growing organization. The next YLG events will coincide with the upcoming Christmas luncheons and be held in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego (specific details to come). We look forward to being a meaningful contributor to the self-storage industry and the CSSA specifically!
